Chickasaws roll on Senior Night

Let’s just be frank here: It wasn’t the Senior Parents Night the New Hampton/Turkey Valley wrestlers wanted.
Oh, the Chickasaws will take the win — a 63-14 thrashing of Waukon — and they’ll take the crowd; as usual, NH/TV drew a big crowd to the old high school gym. But what they really wanted was more matches.
“It was a little bit frustrating,” senior Evan Rosonke said. “I mean most of us didn’t even get to wrestle. I don’t know, it was poor planning, we probably should have had another team come because you’re right, the program felt longer than the dual.”
