Chickasaw girls fall to Crestwood

Lead Summary

On a night in which Crestwood’s Sharon Goodman became the all-time leading scorer for the school, New Hampton fans, players and coaches politely applauded the work of the 6-foot-3 Cadet senior post.
But coach Chad Pemble won’t miss trying to draw up a game plan that will hold the scoring down for the University of Iowa recruit next year.
“She’s really tough to defend,” Pemble said after the Chickasaw 59-39 loss to the Cadets. Of the 59 Cresco points, 26 came from Goodman, which is actually a bit under her average.
