Art Center welcomes new exhibit by a local artist

The Plum Creek Art Center in Fredericksburg is feeling a big empty lately. No, not because of the lack of arts and goods located in the building but from its latest exhibit, called “Empty” by Morgan LaRue.LaRue grew up in rural Ionia and graduated from Nashua-Plainfield High School in 2012. She currently studies Fine Art and Graphic Design at the Upper Iowa University where she is a senior that will be graduating in May.“My parents bought me a camera when I was 10 but I really began taking photography seriously when I was in high school,” said LaRue.She uses her friends as models and incorporates her love for abandoned places by using them in her photography.For the complete story see the 10/25/2016 New Hampton Tribune.
