Anderson, Nuss medal at coed state tournament

Lead Summary

A pair of Chickasaw duos participated in the Iowa Class 1A Coed State Golf Tournament at American Legion Golf Course in Marshalltown on June 4. Ryan Anderson and Allison Nuss teamed up to form one New Hampton squad, while Wyatt Stochl and Morgan Nuss made up the other.
“Coed is always a great meet. It’s a state tournament meet, but it’s meant to be more of a fun meet,” Allison said. “You get to play with people you don’t normally play with, and it’s a lot of fun. We play 18 holes of alternate shot, so it’s a different format too.”
“Competing at the coed meet was a really cool experience,” Stochl said. “I went in not really knowing what to expect, but after we got a couple holes in, I realized how fun it was.”
