Adding ‘coach’ to resume

Ryan Anderson has done a little bit of everything when it comes to extra-curricular activities at New Hampton High School.
The senior has been active in four sports and has been a member of numerous clubs and organizations, and now, he can add “coach” to the list of activities.
One of the four sports Anderson is involved in is the top-notch New Hampton/Turkey Valley wrestling team, but unlike his peers and friends, he has had a different wrestling experience. 
Anderson’s career as a wrestler began his sophomore year, but after wrestling a few matches and getting some experience, Ryan suffered an injury a torn UCL injury, which required him to have what is known as “Tommy John surgery.”
In other words, his career as a wrestler ended.
After watching from the sideline as the Chickasaws went on to win their first Class 2A state dual-meet title, Anderson decided that even though he could not wrestle, he still wanted to be a part of the winning program. This led to a range of possibilities. During the 2017-2018 season, when the Chickasaws repeated as state champions, he served as the broadcaster for the Chickasaws’ live stream.
