John Francis Reicks, age 68 of Lawler, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, June 8, 2025, surrounded by family, due to complications from metastatic kidney cancer.

Jeananne (Jan) Fliger Johnson passed peacefully of natural causes on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at the age of 89 in Billings, Montana.

She was born on Jan. 13, 1936, in New Hampton, to Louis and Nellie Fliger.

Donald “Donnie” Henry Fisher, age 78 of Lawler, was called to his eternal rest on Saturday, May 17, 2025.

James T. Vowell III, age 82 of Eldridge, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2025, at the Davenport Lutheran Home.

Per his wishes, cremation rites will be accorded and no services will be held.

Mary Virginia Knutson, age 85 of Alta Vista, died Monday, June 2, 2025, at Colonial Manor of Elma from complications of a fall and dementia.

Rebecca “Becky” Susan Franzen, age 69 of New Hampton died Friday, May 30, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family.

Glen Schwickerath, age 63, died peacefully in his sleep surrounded by family on June 1, 2025.

Glen was born in New Hampton on May 7, 1962, the son of Paul and Louise Schwickerath. He grew up helping out on the family farm.

Eleanor Hedwig Schwickerath, age 81 of New Hampton, died Saturday, May 24, 2025, at New Hampton Nursing and Rehab.

Dennis Eugene Gorman, age 68 of Marion and formerly of New Hampton, died Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at The Silver
Oaks Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Marion.

Rocky Layne Burgart, age 68 of New Hampton, died Wednesday, May 14, 2025 at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota, from injuries sustained in a farming accident.

She was born on November 25, 1947 in Saude and later made South Minneapolis her longtime home.
