Farmers slowly, but definitely surely, are making progress in bringing in a better-than-expected crop.

Keith Remy, age 88, a 1951 graduate of Nashua High School, died in Starkville, Mississippi, after a brief illness on Tuesday, Nov. 9, 2021. 

Thomas “Tom” Eugene Benyo, age 89 of Nashua, died Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021, at Allen Memorial Hospital in Waterloo. 

Elizabeth “Liz” Duneman, age 80 of New Hampton, died Friday, Nov. 5, 2021, at Maple Crest Manor in Fayette. 

Daniel Dean Speicher, age 53 of New Hampton, died Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2021, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City. 

Anthony “Tony” Blazek, age 48 of Lawler, died Sunday, Oct. 31, 2021, at the University of Iowa Hospitals in Iowa City. 

Kendra L. O’Brien, age 39 of Elma, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 3, 2021, with her husband by her side.

Kendra, the daughter of Darrel and Sue (Oulman) Rawhouser, was born on June 23, 1982, in Ft. Madison.
