Turkey Valley trapshooters open with a victory on their home range

The Turkey Valley trapshooting team opened its season with a bang Monday as the Trojans had the top two squads, the top five male shooters and the top two female shooters in a meet against Crestwood.

Sups approve software spending

The Chickasaw County Board of Supervisors agreed to technology expenditures with two companies that will benefit the offices of the auditor and recorder — under $36,000 with Cotts Systems — and sheriff — under $12,000 with Shieldware Mobile.
