Young and old met on Monday at Veterans Park in Nashua to remember.
Memorial Day means a lot to a vast number of Americans.
New Hampton’s American Legion Fee Stine Post 38 will hold its annual Memorial Day observance on Monday with a program at the Chickasaw County Veterans Memorial in New Hampton.
Sandra G. Harper, age 69 of rural Plainfield, died on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at her residence.
Sandra Gail Harper was born on December 24, 1955, the daughter of Charles and Leatrice (Lee) Iserman in Waverly.
William “Bill” Meadows’ final words to his aunt on that fateful night so long ago were “I’ll be back.”
