TV sweeps Postville in UIC match

Lead Summary

Turkey Valley entered play last Tuesday on a hot stretch - winning three of their last four games. They were able to make it four out of their last five, as they swept Postville in an Upper Iowa Conference match 3-0.
“I threw some different things at the girls Tuesday night, and they stepped up and played very well together,” coach Ethan Adams said. “With some girls in different positions, it was great to see the girls step up and take control of their jobs. We continue to grow and have a positive attitude.”
The Trojans jumped on the Pirates from the outset, as they took the first set 25-14. Postville inched closer in the second and third sets before eventually falling by scores of 25-16 and 25-18.
