Trojan boys/girls top CR in blowouts

Lead Summary

Forcing turnovers has been critical to the success of the Turkey Valley boys and girls basketball teams all year, and the varsity doubleheader at Clayton Ridge last Tuesday was another example of this.
The Trojan boys totaled a season-high 21 steals, while the girls team finished with 24. This allowed each of them to cruise to blowout victories, as the boys topped the Eagles 74-40, while the girls did the same 61-25.
The TV boys led 15-9 after one quarter of play, but outscored Clayton Ridge 23-7 in the second period to take a 22-point advantage into halftime.
