Senator visits research farm and ISU extension office officials

U.S. Sen. Joni Ernst visited the Iowa State University Northeast Iowa Research and Demonstration Farm, rural Nashua, last Thursday. John Lawrence, Director, Agriculture and Natural Resources Extension and Mark Honeyman, Coordinator of ISU Research Farms were responsible for the senator’s visit.Senator Ernst, a long time advocate of Iowa farmers, toured the Borlaug Center along with going to the Bio Reactor site and seeing the 40, one acre plots that are tiled individually for sampling surface and subsurface water quality.For the complete story see the 10/20/2016 Nashua Reporter.
