Volunteers grow to almost 70 for this year’s Project Flo renovations

As Lynn Throndson watched some old cement steps get jackhammered Saturday, he raised his voice to be heard over the din.
“We were kind of hoping those would be hollow inside,” he said with a smile.
No such luck, they were solid, albeit cracked and weathered. But the members of Project Flo are used to rolling with the punches, which, this year, included the weather.
