Two Chickasaws advance to state!

     After running solo at the state meet last year, Nolan Usher will have company this year.
     Both Usher and Olivia Burke qualified for the state cross country meet by finishing in the top 15 at the state qualifying meet Thursday.
     They didn't, however, leave a lot of room to spare as Usher was 14th and Burke 15th in the meet held at Dike.
     The Chickasaw girls were seventh of 12 complete teams, while the boys trailed their field of 13 schools.
     Fort Dodge will be the site of the state meet next Saturday. For more on the story, please see the Oct. 24 Tribune.
