Turkey Valley to send off team to state Sunday

Turkey Valley High School will hold a community pep rally at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday in the high school gym to send off its Trojans to the Class 1A state basketball tournament.  There will also be no school on Monday, the day the Trojans play Janesville in its first state tournament game.  A fan bus is available, and  those interested in riding it to Des Moines should contact Marsha Wenthold at 641-330-3056 by noon Friday.
