Trojan girls roll by Tripoli

Neither team scored in the first couple minutes of a Turkey Valley-Tripoli clash last Thursday night, before the Panthers took a 2-1 lead.But an 18-3 run by the Lady Trojans closed out the quarter and pretty well assured the TV girls of their seventh win against no losses on the season. They won 58-36.Ten first-quarter points by Shelby Reicks and nine by Morgen Kuennen accounted for all the Trojan scoring in the 19-5 first-quarter lead.In the next period, Kayla Gebel’s seven points led the second quarter total as Turkey Valley took a 32-17 lead into the locker room at the half.More on the story may be found in the Dec. 20 Tribune.
