St. Joe’s young students get a ‘cool’ play area

The Sunrise Preschool student had just finished a trip down the slide when she popped up and smiled.“This is the best playground ever,” she said, and St. Joseph Community School Principal Christina Carlton couldn’t help but smile.“That’s what we want to hear,” she said, “and it’s thanks to a lot of people. This shows you the value of teamwork.”St. Joe’s Sunrise has had a playground in the past but to say it was small was an understatement.“It couldn’t fit 20 kids, you’re right,” she said, “and so we had to be creative and get trikes out so every child had something to do.”For the complete story see the 09/02/2016 New Hampton Tribune.
