Postseason basketball games moved to Friday

New Hampton, Nashua-Plainfield and Turkey Valley will have to wait a day for their boys basketball playoff games.
HIgh winds that caused reduced visibilities and blowing and drifting of snow to the west of New Hampton forced St. Ansgar and Crestwood school officials to cll off district tournament games Thursday.
The Chickasaws will now meet Aplington-Parkersburg on Friday at 6:30 in Cresco for a 2A district semifinal game, and that game will be followed by a matchup of Crestwood and Osage.
Turkey Valley and Nashua-Plainfield will meet Friday at 6:30 in a Class 1A district quarterfinal game because deteriorating road conditions in the St. Ansgar area led to the decision to push back games one night.
