Plainfield welcomes winter

Plainfield Main Street was beautifully decorated with the newly fallen snow on Sunday evening to make it feel like the holidays for their annual Christmas on Main celebration.The evening started with the annual tree lighting by the welcome sign. Plainfield Days President Brett Smith announced some of the events going on throughout the evening and let everyone know about the Christmas decorating contest in Plainfield before lighting the trees and the sign. Pastor Shawn Geer from the Plainfield Baptist Church said a prayer for the event before ending the ceremony.The Plainfield Days Committee members decorated the trees and all the bulbs were donated by Butler-Bremer Communications.For the complete story see the 12/8/2016 Nashua Reporter.
