Plainfield party

Plainfield Days 2016 was a huge hit for the town with fun for all ages.And this year’s celebration, which ran from Thursday through Sunday, was extra special as the city celebrated the 150th anniversary of its founding.“It’s really fun to see everyone coming out and seeing generations come together for the celebration,” said Plainfield Mayor Tom Geise.After a fun-filled “family night” on Thursday that included the naming of Mr. and Mrs. Sesquicentennial and two Citizens of the Year, the celebration kicked into high gear on Friday night.Aubry Bienemann was crowned Miss Plainfield 2016 and Mckenna Weiss was named 1st runner up.For the complete story see the 7/14/2016 Nashua Reporter.
