Nickalos McDaniel, 75

Nickalos McDaniel, age 75 of Charles City, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018, at the Floyd County Medical Center in Charles City.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Hauser Funeral Home on Thursday, March 8, 2018, from 2 to 3 p.m.
Nick McDaniel, son of Clyde and Irene (Brewer) McDaniel, was born on Oct. 19, 1942.  He was brother to Phil, Mary, Cathy, Linda, Clyde, Patty, Howard, and Marty. 
Nick’s activities (when he was not doing carpentry) were hanging out with friends and family, playing pool, fishing, trapping, wild game hunting, mushroom and asparagus hunting.
In his second marriage to Judy (Perry), he fathered Travis and Tonia (Mike Munshower) and has one granddaughter, Tiffany Woodword. 
Recently, he drove to scout out for wildlife for his enjoyment before heading to the local bar to visit friends and he did weekly visits to the family bar to play pinochle and cribbage with his sisters.
Hauser Funeral Home in Charles City, is in charge of local arrangements.  Online condolences may be left for the family at www.hauserfh.com.
