New Trib GM is excited for opportunity
The new general manager of the New Hampton Tribune and Nashua Reporter is, in a word, excited about her latest assignment.“I can’t wait to get to know the community,” said Kim Bucknell, who began her duties last week. “I want to meet the people and find out about the businesses and what motivates them to make this a thriving community.”HallMark Integrated Media President Gene Hall said that the Tribune’s new general manager brings a wide variety of experiences to the newspaper.“Kim has been with us for more than 18 years and has done an excellent job in every task she has undertaken,” Hall said, “and I believe she will do an excellent job with our products here in New Hampton and Nashua.”Bucknell grew up on a farm about five miles east of Charles City, but she has plenty of New Hampton and Chickasaw County experiences.Her father worked for years in New Hampton, and she has also been a longtime volunteer at the Big Four Fair in Nashua.At the Charles City Press, she performed a wide variety of duties and worked as a graphic designer, receptionist, inside sales representative for both classified and display advertising, news clerk, writer and bookkeeper.For the complete story see the 9/16/2016 New Hampton Tribune.
