Moment for Mom

December 20, 2017, it’s Maddie Hoeck’s day of infamy, if you will.
The night before, Hoeck and her teammates on the New Hampton Dance Team performed their final routine of the calendar year, when they took to the floor at halftime of the New Hampton-Charles City boys basketball game. In the stands, Patti Slick-Hoeck was bursting with pride, for she was her daughter’s biggest fan.
Life was good, very good.
