Life-changing week

Two New Hampton High Schoolers recently attended the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) camp this summer, learning skills that they said will stay with them throughout their lives.Each year, thousands of young people, ages 13-30, participate in this program by being sponsored by Rotary Clubs to attend the event run by the club's district committee.Senior Brianna White and junior Grace Denner attended RYLA and hope students take their lead and attend in RYLA for years to come.White said she met many great people at RYLA, ones that she hopes to continue to stay in touch with.She also learned about her own personality and how she fits in with groups.For the complete story see the 8/12/2016 New Hampton Tribune.
