Joyce Arlene Meyerhoff, 89

Joyce Arlene Meyerhoff, age 89, of Elma, Iowa, passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018 at Floyd County Medical Center in Charles City, Iowa.A time of sharing will be held from 1:00-3:00 PM on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Conway-Markham Funeral Home in Elma, Iowa.  Burial will be in Howard Cemetery at Elma, Iowa at a later date.  Online condolences for Joyce’s family may be left at www.conway-markhamfh.com.  Memorials may be directed to the family.Joyce Arlene Meyerhoff was born on August 12, 1929 to Edward and Pearl (Schoonover) Teepe in Randalia, Iowa.  She attended school in Randalia.  Joyce was united in marriage to Edwin Meyerhoff and the couple resided in Elma, Iowa.  Later she moved to New Hampton, Iowa and then moved to Charles City, Iowa.  Joyce enjoyed playing bingo and cards, watching game shows and going to the casinos.Joyce is survived by her daughters Linda Bird of Waverly, Iowa, Carol Poquette of Chares City, Iowa, Karen (Harold) Hurley of Lake Mills, Iowa and Diana Meyerhoff of Lake Mills, Iowa; sisters Elinor Eggers of Charles City, Iowa, Janice Kobliska of Elma, Iowa and Phyllis Fausnaugh of Mason City, Iowa; 11 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.Joyce is preceded in death by her parents Edward and Pearl Teepe; husband Edwin Meyerhoff in 1978; two brothers Raymond and David Teepe; two sisters Mabel and Sharon; two sons-in-law David Poquette and Doug Bird.
