It might be bit dysfunctional, but cast makes up a family

When it comes right down to it, maybe the best way to describe the cast of the fall play is it’s a family.“Maybe a dysfunctional one, but yes, we are a family,” Director Maggie Konecne said. “We spend so much time together, that it does become a family, and so we have all the things a family has. We argue, we don’t always agree, but we all want what’s best for our play.”The 29 students and Konecne will present “Donavan’s Daughters” Nov. 9-10 at the New Hampton Middle School Auditorium, and as Konecne talked Friday, she looked at a calendar and showed her dramatic side.“Oh my gosh two weeks away,” she said in mock horror. “In all seriousness, though, I think it is coming together. Yes, we’re definitely at crunch time, but these kids have really stepped up and I think we’re right where we need to be. Are we there yet?
