Winners are chosen for their outstanding service and dedication to the Chickasaw County 4-H program.Chickasaw County fairs have been a part of Hillesheim’s life for many years and it all began in the late 1970s when she agreed to become a 4-H leader when her children were younger. Her four girls showed driving ponies at the fairs and attended the Iowa State Fair on a yearly basis. In 1980, Hillesheim joined the Fair Board and has volunteered numerous hours behind the scenes helping out where ever she is needed.
