Halloween Hike: Creatures of the Deep

Join Chickasaw County Conservation to learn about some ‘Creatures of the Deep” on Oct. 11. During this educational hike (not a scary hike!), participants will meet and learn from a caddisfly larvae, a channel catfish, a crayfish, a salamander and a freshwater mussel. Cocoa, cider and treats will be served at the end of the hike.Hike times are at 6 p.m., 6:15, 6:30 and 6:45. Each hike is limited to 25 people. Free will donations will be accepted at the door.  To register, call Chickasaw CCB at 641-394-4714. Call right away to reserve your time.
