‘Great American Read’ comes to the Carnegie
The current exhibit at the Carnegie Cultural Center continues a nationwide conversation, begun by Public Broadcasting, on the 100 most-loved books. The PBS contest, which is now over, sought to engage viewers by voting for their favorite book on the viewer-selected Great American Read top 100 list. This Chickasaw County conversation still uses the PBS Great American Read top 100 list, but voting in the Carnegie contest will be done by paper ballot at the Carnegie through Nov. 16.— For more on this story, see the Oct. 26 New Hampton Tribune.
