Deborah “Debbie” Lawson dies at 57
Deborah “Debbie” Lawson, 57, of Alden, Minn., passed away Friday, June 16, 2017, in Rochester, Minn.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Bethel United Methodist Church, Manly, with Rev. Don Preston officiating. Burial will be held at Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery, Mason City.
A visitation will be held 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Hogan-Bremer-Moore Colonial Chapel.

Debbie was born January 4, 1960, daughter of John and Sharon (Myers) Donovan Jr. Debbie attended Mason City High School. After high school, she worked various jobs in the Mason City area to help her mother care for her siblings. Debbie was united in marriage to Dave Lawson on February 14, 1981 in Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Mason City, and to this union three children were born.
Debbie enjoyed attending BINGO every Thursday with her daughter Lorene and spending time with her grandchildren. She looked forward to her morning cups of coffee, and her late night television. Debbie delighted reading the BIBLE every night.
Debbie is survived by her husband, David Lawson; three children, John (Maggie) Lawson, KC (Zac) Stuart, and Lorene (Nick) Rozalez; six grandchildren, Broodie, Gabriela, Charlie Lawson, Chase Schneider, Jaydn and Zac Jr. Stuart; two brothers, Tommy and Tony Donovan; sister, Connie Lawson, and many extended family.
Debbie is preceded in death by her father, John Donovan Jr.; mother in-law, Tootie Lawson; grandson, Caleb Stuart; grandmother, Edna Myers.
