County gets TRIBE Trail pitch

 The TRIBE Trail Committee has completed fundraising for the first phase of the recreational trail and is now looking at the big picture.Committee members Rick Kramer and Megan Baltes met with the Chickasaw County Board of Supervisors on Monday to ask for $10,000 be allocated to the TRIBE Trail from the county.“We met a few months ago to discuss the trail with you,” said Kramer to the board, “ and now that we have confirmed the route we are moving forward and will start construction this spring on phase one.”For the complete story see the 12/16/2016 New Hampton Tribune.
