Chickasaws stumble into the postseason

After capturing a conference title two weeks ago, the New Hampton baseball team’s play took a turn for the worst in the final week of the regular season.
The Chickasaws entered last week boasting a record of 25-6 and were ranked as the No. 7 team in Class 2A.
However, in the three contests they played during this stretch, they lost all three. Each of these defeats came against North Iowa Cedar League East Conference opponents.
