Chickasaw golf goes high-tech
When New Hampton girls head golf coach Eric Olson envisioned his plan to raise money for a golf simulator, his goal was to gain enough funds for one launch monitor for the simulator.
However, the New Hampton community and alumni went above and beyond, as the program was able to raise more than $20,000. With this cash, the golf team was able to purchase three monitors as well as indoor chipping nets.
“I can’t thank the community enough that we’re able to put this thing together,” Olson said. “It’s their generosity that did it. It’s their money that made it possible.”
