Huskies snap skid with win over Riceville

Nashua-Plainfield volleyball is on the right track, it’s first year coach says, no matter what the record states.The Huskies went 1-3 last week and took a 3-10 record into Tuesday night’s home match with North Butler.“I know our record doesn’t look like it,” coach Amber Carter said, “but we are making progress, we are getting better. I love our effort, and if the girls trust the process, we’re going to be just fine.”After struggling against Osage in a Top of Iowa East Division match last Tuesday — the Green Devils came away with a 25-14, 25-14, 25-17 victory — Nashua-Plainfield found itself staring at a six-match losing streak.More on the story may be found in the Sept. 22 Reporter.
