Bonnie S. (Havlik) Puls dies at 50

Bonnie S. (Havlik) Puls, age 50, of Washburn, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at her home in Washburn.A visitation was held on Saturday, August 20, 2016 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Hagarty-Wychoff-Grarup Funeral Home in Waterloo.  A private burial will be held at a later date. Bonnie Sue (Havlik) Puls was born on October 6, 1965, the daughter of Edward and Matilda “Tillie” (Elenz) Havlik in New Hampton.  She was a 1984 graduate of Crestwood High School in Cresco.  Upon graduating, Bonnie worked for Omega Cabinets until she began battling cancer.  She then went to work for Washburn BP Truckstop in Washburn.  Bonnie enjoyed cheering on the Waterloo Black Hawks and spending time with family and friends.Bonnie is survived by her mother, Matilda “Tillie” Havlik of Elma; her brother, Donnie Havlik of Elma; her nephew, Steven Havlik, also of Elma; along with numerous aunts and uncles and extended family.She was preceded in death by her father, Edward Havlik.
