Turkey Valley gets its revenge

Trojans knock out Rockford to move on in the playoffs

Sweet revenge.

That’s what No. 2 Turkey Valley got on Friday, as they defeated No. 16 Rockford in the opening round of the eight-player playoffs after falling to the Warriors in the first round in 2018 by a score of 64-58.

However, this game wasn’t near as close, as the Trojans won 52-8.

“We just wanted to come out and hit them as hard as we can,” senior Seth Huinker said. “We wanted to show them that we aren’t messing around this year.”
