Season ends for Chickasaw boys
Three teams qualified for state from the Dike-New Hartford district Friday, but New Hampton was not one of those teams.
It was very close, but when the final golfer from Clarion-Goldfield-Dows came in with an 86, erasing their fourth-best score of 88, it broke a tie that existed between the Cowboys and the Chickasaws.
New Hampton finished with a 328, just two strokes over the 326 by the Cowboys. Other teams to advance were Roland Story with a 321 and Dike-New Hartford with a 322.
Leading the way for the Chickasaws was Ryan Anderson with a 78 and Aden Zwanziger with a 79.
