United Fund Campaign Committee begins its annual drive

The 41st annual New Hampton Area United Fund Campaign is underway once again with the committee asking residents to donate to the fund where every dollar goes to work right here in New Hampton and North Iowa.The first United Fund Drive was held in 1975 and each year the organization hopes that those who have the means can help those who are going through difficult times.The amount raised in the last fund drive were allocated to Boy Scouts of America, Chickasaw County 4-H, Carnegie Cultural Center, Chickasaw Event Center, Chickasaw County Public Health, EAGLE, Girl Scouts, Great Plays Day Care, New Hampton Parks and Recreation Department, Pathways Behavioral Services, The Learning Center, Turkey Valley Preschool, Sunrise Preschool and St. Joseph Community School.For the complete story see the 10/28/2016 New Hampton Tribune.
