An unhappy status quo

New Hampton/Turkey Valley wrestling coach Matt Paulus just doesn’t get it.
All the coaches he knows want the Iowa High School Athletic Association to “fix” the state wrestling tournament schedule yet the IHSAA earlier this spring announced, at least for the next five years, the status quo will remain.
That means the state dual tournament will continue to be held on a Wednesday, followed by the three-day traditional tournament.
