TV pounds South Winn; moves to 8-1 on the year

In their lone contest before Christmas break last week, the Turkey Valley girls basketball team hammered South Winneshiek 61–17 on Friday.
The Trojans led after one quarter of play 15-6 before shutting out the Warriors in the second period to take a 35-6 edge into the halftime break.
TV extended their advantage to 46-8 after three quarters of play and eventually claimed the 44-point victory.
