Trojans win high-scoring affair

    For the first three quarters Friday night, the difference between Turkey Valley's score and that of their Kee High hosts was created by two-point conversions — Turkey Valley made some of theirs and Kee didn't.    For the game, even though the Trojans only scored one more time than the Kee Hawks, Turkey Valley recorded an opening-season win by 12 points, 48-36.Those extra points add up.    "It was a learning experience for our young players," said coach Mark Scott. "The players kept playing hard from both sides. When we would get a score Kee would answer back."    The coach gave the guys in the trenches a pat on the back after the game.    "Our young offensive line fought hard against an older and experienced Kee line," he said. "On defense we gave up some big plays but played tough for the most of the game."    Trailing 6-0, Turkey Valley took a first-quarter lead when Ethan Leibold connected on a 37-yard pass play to Will Einwalter, then passed to Braeden Baumler for the conversion.
