Trojans post perfect week; win tournament

After owning a 10-12 record coming into last week, the Turkey Valley volleyball team flipped the script. The Trojans had their best week of the season, as they went an undefeated 5-0 to improve their overall record to 15-12.
In their lone conference match on Thursday, the Trojans defeated Central Elkader 3-1.
“It was great to get over a small hump last night. We had a game plan going in, and we were able to execute it,” coach Ethan Adams said. “The girls did a great job of playing together and controlling their side of the volleyball. We were able to minimize errors and capitalize on some good runs.”
