Trojan girls lead UIC with six selections; Byrne, Hoffert named to first team

After a season in which it finished third place in the Upper Iowa Conference with a record of 12-4, the Turkey Valley girls basketball team had six players, the most in the conference, honored as all-UIC players.
Of these six, two landed on the first team - juniors Ali Hoffert and Jaycie Byrne.
This is Hoffert’s second first-team nomination in the UIC, as she was chosen as one as a sophomore while playing for South Winneshiek during her sophomore campaign.
