Trojan girls erupt for 19 runs, get first victory

The Turkey Valley softball team got their first win of the season last Wednesday, as they defeated North Fayette Valley in the first game of a doubleheader 19-6 in just six innings.
Heading into the sixth, the Trojans led by just three, but they scored a whopping 10 runs in this inning to extend their lead to 13.
The biggest story from the game was the two home runs Turkey Valley got from Hailey Elsbernd and Shayla Kuennen. Coach Junior Hackman was especially surprised by Elsbernd’s.
