Trojan batting average is best in UIC

We’ve written about big innings before, but this one takes the cake.
During game one of last week’s Turkey Valley-Postville doubleheader, the first frame ended in a 1-1 tie. Postville didn’t score in the top half of the second, but when the Trojans were up in the bottom half of the inning — before the Pirates recorded their first out — Turkey Valley was up 16-1. 
That would be the final score as the game mercifully ended in three innings, and the second game also was a short one, with a 14-1 TV win.
