State champions!

The dream for every single member of the Nashua-Plainfield cheerleading squad was the same Saturday as they took to the mat at the Iowa State Fairgrounds.Win a state championship.The 11-member squad — which included 10 performers and one alternate — made that dream a reality. With a flawless performance, Nashua-Plainfield claimed the Class 1A title at the Iowa Cheerleading Coaches Association’s State Championships.The journey that began with tryouts in March and continued with team selection in May, a summer full of practice and a fall putting the finishing touches on their routine was over.For the complete story see the 11/10/2016 Nashua Reporter.
