Rosalyn 'Roz' Mary Kriener, 68

Rosalyn “Roz” Mary Kriener, age 68 of Chicago and formerly from Waucoma, passed away on Sunday, Dec. 31, 2017.
Roz worked at National Association of Realtors for 27 years in areas of education and programming, most recently as director of programming in the meeting and events area. 
Visitation will be held on Saturday, Jan. 20, 2018,  at 1 p.m. until time of the funeral service at 3 p.m. at Donnellan Family Funeral Home, 10045 Skokie Boulevard at Old Orchard Road Skokie, IL 60077. 
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine, 201 E. Huron Street, Chicago, IL 60611 or The Flower Flat, 620 W. Addison Street Chicago, IL 60613.

Extremely respected by all, members and speakers, Roz helped manage and create programming for the Annual Conference, Midyear Meetings and many other NAR events. 
Born and raised in Iowa,  Roz was one of 10 children. 
After moving to Chicago, she quickly took advantage of the many happenings in the city. Roz earned her Asian classics and basic program certificates from the University of Chicago. 
She worked in the Chicago theaters in the 70s and continued to be a longtime supporter. 
A huge Cubs fan and voracious reader she also enjoyed the New York Times crossword puzzles and her Friday Night Dinner Group.

Roz was the beloved daughter of Vera Kriener, nee Hageman, and the late Gregory Kriener; loving sister of John (Sue) Kriener, Elaine (Jim) Brinks, Eugene (Amy) Kriener, Joyce (Don) Brincks, Leroy (Kristine) Kriener, Richard (Jean) Kriener, Carl (Mandy) Kriener, Mark Kriener and Ann (Roger) Balk; fond aunt to 22 nieces and nephews; and devoted friend to many.
