Public comment reinstated at board meetings

Public comment will be allowed at Chickasaw County Board of Supervisors meetings beginning five minutes after the start of the meeting. Commenters will have to be recognized by the chairman and limit their remarks to three minutes.This was the second motion made at Monday’s meeting, and passed 5-0 on a roll call vote.— For more on this story, see the Oct. 5 New Hampton Tribune.
