NH continues top squad streak with Red win Tuesday

Cedar Falls may be a much larger school, but they don’t have the numbers on their trapshooting squad that New Hampton does.    Or the talent.    The Chickasaws had the top squad in a triangular at home Tuesday, which included Echo Valley, as New Hampton Red put up a very good score of 231, beating the best Cedar Falls squad by 13 targets. New Hampton Black took third place with a 212.    Among the Red shooters, Austin Schmidt’s 49 was tied for the top score among male shooters and Zach Heying was tied for the second-best score of 48.    Other NH Red scores were Christian Schwickerath at 46, Kevin Burgart with a 45 and Karson Crooks a 43.  For all of the New Hampton scores, please see the April 21 Tribune.
