New program at N-P has teachers helping teachers

Nashua-Plainfield’s Teacher Leadership and Collaboration Program (TLC) had their kick-off meeting last Wednesday.In the spring of 2016, N-P was awarded the TLC grant. This grant rewards effective teachers with leadership opportunities.Teachers will  receive more support for teacher collaboration and allow teachers to learn from each other. In order to improve student learning, it requires improving the instruction they receive on a daily basis. The TLC program allows teachers to lead the process.Any N-P teachers that have at least three years of experience and have worked in the district for at least one year could apply for different leadership roles.For the complete story see the 10/27/2016 Nashua Reporter.
